What the entity type means for you
A sole proprietor is one person trading under their own legal name. There is no company between you and the work, no account manager, and no subcontracting: the person who quotes, builds, invoices, and supports is the same person. Payments are received into an account in the same legal name that appears on the invoice.
Because the entity is a person, the invoice payee is a person — Jon-Andrew Martin. If a document shows a different name, ask before paying.

W-9 — issued on request, before or after the first invoice, for your records.
Tax ID — supplied on a W-9 rather than printed on the open web.
Certificate of insurance — available if your procurement requires one; ask before the SOW is signed.
Two payment relationships, kept separate
There are two different payment questions in a project, and they never mix:
You paying Jon-Andrew. By numbered invoice, ACH or card, at no surcharge. This site runs no checkout.
Your customers paying you, if the project includes a shop. That is a merchant account in your name, approved in your name, on your fees. Jon-Andrew configures it; never resells it.
Tax treatment
Oklahoma sales tax is not currently charged on design and development services. If a taxable item ever applies, it is itemized on the invoice before payment.
